Bug Description

The new date format in 1.3.7 is not related to locale settings (uses d M Y format, where the locale is set to Y/M/D). Perhaps it's chosen to make the date part short to accommodate buttons, but I still hope it's possible to choose a native format to ease editing.

Yes, the date on the new transaction screen has been shorted to fit the buttons. The correct fix would be moving status to some other place on the screen, how'd you think?

Changed in financisto:
importance: Undecided → Low

I feel the date format should respect user's choice in Preferences, or give a format-string/drop-down list in Financisto's preferences. I'm not sure if it's possible to shrink the Income/Expense/Transaction button to accomodate it (or just hide the overflow part of this button), since IMO the date display is more important.

Changed in financisto:
assignee: nobody → Denis Solonenko (denis-solonenko)
milestone: none → 1.4.5
status: New → Fix Committed
