Backup GDocs Error: Service not available in Google Docs

I know this has been reported in the past and also it has been labled as 'solved' successfully, but sorry, it still doesn't work for me. The backup is starting though and the 'clock' indicates it's trying, but after a few seconds it gives up.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus w/Android 4.1.

I had the same issue after Google switched from Docs to Drive. Renaming the old backup folder and creating a new one with the same name helped.
