Include sub categories in the Category by Period Reports list of categories - doesn't work

I have some data in my blotter for last two month. I displayed the report by category and period. Everything work OK.

Then I went to Settings and unchecked
"Include sub categories in the Category by Period Reports list of categories"
When I returned to the report I wasn't able to see any other category except "No category".

I restarted the report and got a message "There is no category available for filtering in the report."
I'm sure there is a lot of categories (and various subcategories).
Then I went to Settings and checked again
"Include sub categories in the Category by Period Reports list of categories"
And at that moment there were a plenty of categories.

Than I tried it again and also uncheck "Add sub categories result to the result of a root category" and Financisto crashed.
