description |
hello,
I've installed fglrx from repos. It installs and works, but I get awefully low performance. I think I found the problem, which is showed in CCC :
http://img220.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cccgc5.png
It's in polish, but as you can see it reports that my HD4850 is using fglrx but OpenGL is from mesa. Although, fglrxinfo shows :
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
OpenGL version string: 1.4 (2.1.8087 Release
So it seems like it should be ok, but in q3 I get like 70 fps instead of 1k+, and I cant even start etqw cause of segfaults. |
