Yes I am able to. In fact I am using the integrated card currently as it does not over heat my system.
There is a bug in enabling the igpu. The workaround is mentioned in the thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1930450

You need add a small directory for drivers in the file: /etc/X11/Xsession.d/10fglrx as described in step 2 depending on which system you have (32bit or 64).
