Bug Description

It would be nice to support multicore encoding. Today nearly all computers have multicore cpus that can increase the encoding speed.

Well, it is not a bug, but it sure would be nice to have. I use it a lot. On my quad core :-)

not likely to happen.
real multicore support would need to be added to libtheora.
one thing ffmpeg2theora could do is split up decoding, encoding video and encoding audio.
if you have many videos to encode, just run ffmpeg2theora more than once to make use of your cores.
