Bug Description

Hi,

Please consider backporting gnumed from gutsy to feisty.

Version in gutsy : https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnumed-client/0.2.5.0-1ubuntu1

Version in feisty: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnumed-client/0.2.4.2-1ubuntu1

Initial tests show gutsy version runs in feisty without problems.

reason for request: major bug fixes. gutsy version is the first version really usable while feisty carries more of a demo.

Thanks for considering.

Please reconsider syncing the version in Feisty with the version in Gutsy.

As far as I can see it is a drop in replacement and has been privately requested by users interested in GNUmed.

It does not just carry a new version but replaces a software package in Feisty that is not really usable.

Thanks,
The GNUmed team

Here are the versions in Ubuntu repositories up to date. Please indicate which one you'd like. If you want the Hardy release, we will need to open up Gutsy backport tickets too.

Thanks for your help,

Packages are available in a PPA , produced by a helpful Ubuntero.

I have tested the packages on Feisty and Gutsy. It would be great if the could be backported.
