@Laurent - I'm not familiar with the way confirmed Ubuntu bugs are dealt with, but since you changed the assignee to nobody, does this mean that the issue will not be addressed? And that many thousands or more of Karmic users will have the equivalent of dial-up speeds unless they are tech savvy and know how to tweak conf files or blacklist modules?
