Crashes in nouveau CACHE_ERROR

[savinvas]

System was freezing after the following errors in the syslog. Only mouse cursor moves. Server was not responding to Ctrl+Alt+Function keys to open sessions.

Had to reset to reboot the host.

I have found that adding nouveau.noaccel=1 to the Kernel command line in /etc/default/grub has solved the lockups. You may want to try.

Adding this line to kernel command line disables the hardware acceleration which badly affects the performance of the system. In my humble opinion,this might not be an acceptable workaround.
