Excel2latex.xla cannot be accessed

Bug Description

I get the following message when I click on Excel2latex in the menu under Format:

"The file may be read only or you may trying to access a read-only location."

When I click Cancel, I get a message:

Microsoft Visual 400.

Sorry for my slow reply. Do you see this message for all files you are trying to convert to LaTeX?

Could you please specify your version of Windows/Mac OS and Excel? Also, where have you installed Excel2LaTeX.xla?

Hi, my mac version is 10.8.4, and I have Excel 2011. Excel2LaTeX is sitting in the Add-Ins folder of Excel.

When I last tested it on Mac OS, I simply downloaded and opened the .xla file, without storing it in the Add-Ins folder. Could you please try moving the file from the Add-Ins folder to another location and open it from there?
