a track object anyway currently.

I realized while trying to code the plugin how far reaching the entire interface is and how some of the exaile api's don't
allow for the needed functionality.

For the minimal plugin I've been looking at https://code.launchpad.net/~rick-rickspencer3/+junk/sound_menu
which contains all the glue code for the indicator applet, but I was hesitant to write a plugin that only Ubuntu would benefit
from.
