notify plugin blocks gui refresh

Bug Description
i enabled notify plugin (from adam olsen) with libnotify i guess (not ontify-osd becasue it needs another depedancy)
and it freezes the gui at least 1 to 10 seconds every times.
it means that if i hover another window over exaile, all the gui is grey and not resfreshed until 1 to 10 seconds.
this happens when the notification pops up at track start. for every track in the playlist.
expected behavior:
pop-up should not freeze exaile GUI.

Should be fixed with r3066 in trunk and r2926 in 0.3.1.x.
