Bug Description

Using the latest bzr devel of exaile and the latest ipod plugin (0.4.5 I believe). When the iPod (a 2gb Nano) is connected through devices, a random artist name appears at the very top where it should say 'Playlists' and the same name appears where there should be any playlists. I will create a videocast to illustrate this if necessary.

Files will enter the 'queue' to transfer, but when you press Transfer they appear to complete instantly and 'Finishing transfer' appears. Running Exaile from the terminal shows the transfers are set to a very small percentage (0.067?) but that percentage changes randomly it seems. No related errors are reported.

Using 0.2.10 of Exaile with the 0.4.0 plugin does work, but only with files that are already in the library.

I have the same problem using 2.11 bzr..
My guess: As in the artists area only some are "wakky" and always the first of a capital, it seems to be artifacts of an older svn version, when there were extra lines named with the capitals to differentiate the whole musiclibrary/collection. Just a random guess.

I think those random entries you're seeing at the start of each new letter are from an unpatched bug in the device panel. I wrote a patch (http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9436163/device_set_row_separator_func.patch) to fix it a while back that got lost in the shuffle. I don't think that will fix the transfer problem you're having, though.

Using latest BZR version, the artifact at the top of the ipod tree is fixed, however I can confirm that files in the transfer queue now seem to transfer instantly, and then never appear in the list. It shows the "Finishing" message, and fails silently.

Using a 5th gen nano, and latest Ubuntu build of 0.2.11

Here is the CLI output of trying to move a track onto the ipod. I flushed the .exaile folder and started with a fresh install of the the BZR version.
