Bug Description
From a text to speech accessibility view, the preferences interface can seem a bit clunky if the restart options and warnings overlay the option being changed. Suggest a read only edit field prior to the option followed by the restart button option.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by your solution. I don't believe the preferences are overlaid, the error occurs on the top of the dialog. Is this not compatible with the speech to text?
Honestly, I think that we should get rid of all options that require exaile to restart, then we don't have this problem either. It's a personal goal of mine.
