Binary package hint: evolution
The "Send an email" alarm option is grayed out in Evolution. So when an alarm goes off, I can't send an e-mail automatically. |
Binary package hint: evolution
1. Create an event in the Evolution calendar
2. Double-click the event to go through the details.
3. Hit "Alarms"
4. Add an alarm.
5. The alarm has a drop-down list for "Play a sound" "Display an alert" etc... one of these is "Send an email"
Notice that that last option is grayed. I can send e-mail from evolution, just not automatically by alarm. This is a VERY useful feature because you can e-mail switchboard@provider and have a cell phone ring or a blackberry go off (effectively adding SMS capabilities to Evolution). |
