Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

When selecting the option "Only ever show PLAIN" under Evolution Preferences > Mail Preferences > HTML Messages > HTML Mode, it is impossible to have evolution show the HTML content of an e-mail.

It would be nice to have the option of clicking a button (a la KMail) to display HTML content, even if Evolution has been instructed to never show HTML content.
Alternatively, an additional option in the aforementioned option something along the lines of "Show PLAIN by default".

If I understand the last "alternative" part of this request, it is the same as the "Prefer PLAIN" option under the HTML Messages tab in Mail Preferences (I'm on Evolution version 2.28.1, Ubuntu 9.10). I currently use that option and am happy with it, but I still find myself wishing frequently to view the HTML version of certain messages. It would be very nice to have the option to switch display formats on the fly, as in the KMail button. The current flow looks like:

1. Click View menu
2. Click Preferences
3. Click Mail Preferences
4. Click HTML Messages
5. Change from "Prefer PLAIN" to "Show HTML if present"
6. Close preferences window
7. Switch to a different message and back again, to update message display format
8. Repeat 1-5 to turn options back to "Prefer PLAIN"

Which is a rather long way around.

Just a simple button added into to the preview pane that would case Evolution to download all html for that specific email would be great. Thunderbird provides a similar option (for inspiration).

I actually cannot see any html message as html. I'm speaking of messages whose body is something like

<table border=1 bgcolor="#FFFF99" cellpadding=6 cellspacing=0><tr><td>
<font face=verdana><img src="/icone/check.gif">
text
</td></tr></table><br>

or

<html>
