Bug Description

As it happens you often end up with the same person in your addressbook twice, different fields filled in in both entries.
When marking two entries who relate to the same person/company an entry "Merge entries" in the context and actions menu should be available.
This brings up a two column Dialogbox of all used fields, and an arrow between each field can be pointed into either direction. In the first line it's possible to direct all arrows into either direction.
This feature could also be provided as an evolution plugin, if integration isn't possible in the upstream project.

Any chance of seeing a deb file for this Eplugin? That would not trigger 100 dev packages to be installed.

I'm the author of the plugin, and unfortunately it won't work anymore with maverick; the evolution plugin framework is completely different in evolution 2.32 (compared to 2.28), and a big part of the plugin will need to be rewritten.

Unfortunately, the official documentation (http://projects.gnome.org/evolution/) is now completely irrelevant since it has not been updated in ages, so the new APIs need to be inferred from the evolution source code, which is not very plugin-developer-friendly ...
