Bug Description
Error while performing operation.
RCPT TO <email address hidden> failed: Command parameter not implemented
===
I get the above error message when attempting to send email. My mail server is
running Postfix with TLS. I am running Evolution 2.4.1 on
2.6.12-
>> Sending Email indicate:
Server Type: SMTP
Server: mail.dunhackin.org
[x] Server requires authentication
Use Secure Connection: Whenever Possible
Auth Type: DIGEST-MD5
Those exact same settings work on another machine I have, also running the same
version of Evolution on Ubuntu, but on an older Athlon machine. They also work
on an i386 machine running Fedore Core 3, and a ThinkPad running Hoary. This
mail server also works with Mozilla Thunderbird on both Linux and Windows.
I am currently up to date in terms of packages (apt-get update && apt-get
upgrade && apt-get dist-upgrade).
/etc/lsb-release says this:
