Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

I'm not sure what kind of data I should provide here, but I will def. provide anything people need,

When making a signature from a script, if the returned string (i'm guessing) has escape characters in it
such as \t or \n, evolution doesn't see them, and jumbles everything together on one line.

The script I was running was "create-signature" and it looked like this:
echo -e "--\<email address hidden>\n"
fortune -s

Evolution gets the output as:
--<email address hidden><output of fortune here, all on one line>
