Bug Description
Summary:
When Evolution has any focus, such as composing a new email in a window that is maximised, when a new email arrives the Indicator Applet does not trigger and there is no On Screen Notification.
Example Problem:
If the email that arrives is related to the one you are composing you may end up sending out an inaccurate email.
Steps to Reproduce:
Send an email to yourself and then make sure Evolution has focus, either the inbox itself or via a new message window (ideally not maximised so you can see emails arriving and the status bar). When the email arrives the message indicator will not turn green, the On Screen Display won't trigger and the message count (in the message indicator) will not change.
Expected Results:
Regardless of whether or not Evolution is focussed, the message indicator should update and stay until I have clicked a different message in the inbox (which is the current behaviour, showing that my attention is with the inbox rather than it simply having focus or an alternative evolution window).
Attaching a screenshot of the bug and the correct behaviour. Tested on a fully up-to-date Maverick install on i386.
Forgot to mention that this also happens if you are in the calendar or your addressbook, you are unaware of any new emails (except for the star appearing on the Inbox icon in the bottom left of the Switcher).
