Bug Description

On an upgraded installation of Ubuntu 10.04 the indicator applet doesn't count up the Evolution inbox entries. The 'inbox' line with the count of email in the inbox is shown but the count always shows (0). Conditions: Evolution is running and has new emails in the inbox. Package 'evolution-indicator' is installed and checked in Evolution's plugin dialog.

I'm on a fresh install of 10.04 and noticed the same thing. I've since moved on to Thunderbird (which I wish worked with Indicator Applet too).

Same here - fresh install fo 10.04. The indicator applet correctly shows all inbox folders (one local folder, several imap folders), but with a count of (0) messages. Evolution is running and there are mails marked "new" in all inbox folders.

System language is set to german.

Just found out that the indicator applet does not indicate "unread" mails, but "unseen" mails - opening evolution resets all counters to zero, even if the messages stay in the "unread" condition.
