Bug Description

Hi,

This is a slightly different request than the one originally made in Bug #353007.

I believe the indicator-applet should open a message *if it shows the message itself* in the menu. If it only shows the inbox names, the intuitive course of action when clicking such name would be opening evolution and setting its focus on this inbox. Currently, this does not happen: regardless if I click on the main evolution line in the applet or one of the inbox names, it opens evolution and keeps the focus on wherever it was before (including screens that have nothing to do with email, such as calendar or tasks).

This would be a nice feature. I have to click on the indicator applet anyway to see where the message is coming from. It would be nice if I could click on the inbox and go straight there.

I agree. Perhaps you'd like to look at a patch?

Sure why not. I've already been looking at the source code anyway for different reasons.
