Won't sync all contacts

I have about 80 contacts in evolution, Futon only shows me to have about 30. Therefore it only syncs 30 contacts instead of all 80 contacts that I have. I've tried copying them to U1 in evolution, with many errors or evolution just crashing.

Since the contacts don't make it from evolution to couchdb, this is unlikely to be a bug in desktopcouch (since the evo-desktopcouch package does not use the desktopcouch library.)

hmm, if evolution is showing 80 contacts for the U1 addressbook, it's because it's reading them from couchdb. That is, evolution doesn't store the contents locally, it just reads them from desktopcouch. So, how many contacts do you have in the U1 website? Also, can you please right click on the U1 addressbook in Evolution and select 'Save as vCard' and check that there are really those 80 contacts in the vcard file it saves?
