Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

evince shows a yellow background for postscript files such as the one attached; wheras when processed with ps2pdf, the pdf shows the expected white background...

this only on powerpc, it renders correctly on x86

don't specify the ubuntu version you are using in the title, that's confusing and give extra work to bug triagers

could you open the bug on bugs.freedesktop.org since you have the hardware to trigger the bug and can reply to their comments which is not the case for the ubuntu bug triagers

BTW: i think the importance is too low for such a regression...

The upstream bug was closed as invalid because "poppler" was not the right component. Could somebody who has more insight on this reopen that bug with the correct component? Don't know if it is poppler or cairo or something else.

can't tell yet, as evince dies on me with a segfault with todays jaunty/ppc when trying to open that postscript file :-(
