Bug Description
With the approaching release of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, I decided to get a jump on things and set up a virtual machine to test Evergreen installation with the alpha of this release. Everything installs and seems to work well with some modifications to the src/extras/
The code branches for the changes are in the working repos for each:
git://git.
git://git.
The branches use the same name for convenience:
collab/
The Evergreen Makefile.install changes also include changes to the existing generic_ubuntu and ubuntu-lucid targets. Some of this was required because almost everything needed by Evergreen is available as a package on Ubuntu Precise. Also, I made a change to the packages installed on Ubuntu Lucid. RPC::XML::Function needs to be installed in order for the XML-RPC gateway to work. I consider this a correction of changes made in a patch submitted back in May.

Chris Sharp has tested the installation on Lucid and signed off on the changes.
The OpenSRF branch with his sign off is in
user/pines/ precise_ pangolin
Because of some fun times that we had with git and because I signed off on his typo fix in Evergreen's Makefile.install, his signoffs are in
collab/ dyrcon/ precise_ pangolin in the working/Evergreen repo.
If you checked that one out before you might want to make a new branch, since I had to force push.
