Bug Description

When a copy is picked up for a hold it would be nice to have the status say "For Hold - In Transit" that way staff can tell why the copy is being transited instead of just saying "In Transit".

"When a copy is picked up for a hold" could mean a couple of things. Mainly to me, I imagine the patron picking the copy up at the library. I think you mean when it is checked in at the source library and put into delivery to the destination library.

Could you please clarify?

If I correctly understand the goal, we don't need a new status. The system can easily tell why an item is in transit (via the presence of a hold transit, among other things). To do this, we can just augment a few labels w/ additional information. So, as an add-on to Jason's request for further clarification... where should these label changes occur, exactly? Could the same information be derived by (say) showing another column in the related column picker?

Agreed that this could be determined without a status change. Marking Won't Fix.
