Bug Description
Hoary Multiverse Package version 5.10-0.2
Installs fine using apt-get or aptitude, however clicking on the gnome menu icon for "Acrobat Reader" produces nothing at all and running "acroread" from an xterm produces the following:
root@dell-2500:/ # acroread
/usr/bin/acroread: line 12: /usr/lib/
Hoary Multiverse Package version 5.10-0.2
Installs fine using apt-get or aptitude, however clicking on the gnome menu icon for "Acrobat Reader" produces nothing at all and running "acroread" from an xterm produces the following:
root@dell-2500:/ # acroread
/usr/bin/acroread: line 12: /usr/lib/
root@dell-2500:/ #
This is fair, because the only thing present in directory "/usr/lib/
root@dell-2500:~ # acroread
ERROR: Cannot find installation directory.
root@dell-2500:~ #
After fumbling around for a fair while I'm convinced that the acrobat scripts are pretty broken - for ubuntu at least. If I had a running debian box handy I'd try it out there as perhaps the source package is faulty?
Anyway, this package appears in multiverse and currently appears to be broken (for hoary at least), I guess for ubuntu thats enough for now?
Cheers,
Craig
