Bug Description
Evergreen 3.10+, likely earlier versions
To observe this issue in a concerto database:
Login to a BR1 workstation as Cataloger br1bbrown (password beverlyb1234)
In Item Status, retrieve barcode FIC400001583
Edit the call number to add the REF BR1 prefix and Save
Login to a BR2 workstation as user br2jclark (password joannec1234)
In Item Status, retrieve barcode FIC400001583, note that the prefix REF BR1 displays in Item Status
Under Actions, choose to Edit the call number
Note that the REF BR1 prefix does not display in the prefix field, and the dropdown only contains the DVD BR2 prefix.
It's worth noting that if the call number label is then edited, and the call number saved, the original prefix remains in the call number.
This behavior is problematic for library staff users that regularly edit items belonging to sibling branches.
