Did You Mean Offering Suggestions for ISSN Numeric Searches

Bug Description

Evergreen 3.11.1

When Did You Mean is turned on, if you do a Numeric Search for ISSN you get offered suggestions. For example a search for 1707-3049 gets Did you mean: 107

When doing a numeric search by Call Number, ISBN, LCCN, UCP, TCN, or barcode, there is no Did you mean suggestion which is the behaviour I expect.

I think Numeric Searches for ISSN should also not generate did you mean suggestions.

Some configuration things to check:

-- What search class do you have ISSN mapped to? Is it different than where the other numerics are mapped?

-- Does said class have "max suggestions" set to a non-zero value in MARC Search / Facet Classes?

(not saying you're not hitting a bug, just trying to get some more info)

ISSN is mapped to the "identifier" class, as are ISBN, LCCN, TCN, and UPC. On a 3.11 server with concerto data, max_suggestions for the identifier class is set to -1, which is the default value for that column. The 3.10.2-3.11.0 upgrade script will also set max_suggestions to whatever value it finds for the "opac.did_you_mean.max_suggestions" org setting, if any. In either case, it should probably be explicitly set to 0 for that class.
