Bug Description

In Evergreen 3.9.4, using Chromium Version 110.0.5481.104 in Windows 10, there is no prompt to save edits/changes when you are merging bibliographic records from the regular edit screen.

After choosing the lead record, and selecting edit, you go down through all of the MARC fields making changes, and ending up pages down from where you started. At the bottom, there is a button that says merge. If you click merge, it merges the record, and gives you no indication that it didn't save any of the changes. And then you have to edit the merged record and make all the changes again.

I merged two copies of The Librarianist (now TCN 4877661), and as soon as I hit the merge button, it dawned on me that I had not scrolled all the way back up to the top to save the changes before I hit merge--because I've done it before.

Logically, the merge button should either save your changes, OR prompt you that you have made changes, and ask if you want to save them, OR the save button should be at the bottom next to the merge button, instead of all the way at the top.
