"Please set your preferred email." doesn't send any confirmation mail

Bug Description
On https:/
there's a link called "Please set your preferred email." pointing to
https:/
I tried adding an email there (>12 hours ago), and I haven't received any confirmation email yet.
Note: I used a '+'-character in the local part, i.e. chlunde+
It seems like the email is visible for others;
13:14 < carlos> salgado: https:/
13:16 < salgado> carlos, looks like it was accidentally opened
But I don't see it.
