Bug Description
Using v.3.8
Items with digital bookplates / tags are searchable in the staff client, but, without using the Patron View, the only way to discover which item has a tag is to open the Holdings View and add the Tags column, which only displays a value for the number of tags, not the type or tag text. Any detail about the tag can only be accessed from opening the item record in the Holdings Editor and opening Add Item Tags.
IMO, relying on the Patron View may not be sustainable for long. For example, we use an old, customized version of the TPAC which we will not be supporting in the near future, and we are implementing a third party discovery layer. What does "patron view" look like in that scenario?
It would be most helpful to have item tags, alerts, notes, etc. visible in the main staff catalog interface.
I can confirm that this impacts us in 3.9.2 as well.
