Bug Description

Wishlist:

A dialog box that appears stating the item has hit its max amount of renewals when manually editing the due date.

When I looked into it, it seems that editing a due date doesn't count as a renewal. Is the EG community generally interested in keeping editing due dates separate from renewals or should these be tied together?

Editing a due date should be kept separate from renewals. My two cents.

I agree with Diane that editing the due date should remain separate from renewals.

I also agree that editing the due date should be separate from renewals.

We tell our libraries to only use it when the original due date is incorrect (for whatever reason) otherwise they should always use "Renew with Specific Due Date".

The only exception we have for this is renewing hourly loans for a specific due date since "Edit Due Date" has the time picker which is currently missing from "Renew with Specific Due Date".

It seems the consensus is that this should be separate, so I'm marking won't fix.
