Bug Description

Evergreen 3.9

When the library setting "Opt Org Unit into the Course Materials Module" is set to True "Course" becomes an available column on the Item Table in the staff catalogue.

Removing the column via the column list on the Grid Settings menu and clicking "Save Grid Settings" doesn't stick. The Course column will reappear when you move to the next record.

However, if you remove the column via the "Manage Columns" option and then "Save Grid Settings" the column will stay hidden. Once you've done that once the column behaves as expected whether you go through "Manage Columns" or just check/un-check the column from the list on the Grid Settings menu.

I am not able to replicate this problem on our 3-9-4 installation. Both options work identically for me.

I looked at this again as part of bug squashing week (using Terran's test server) and realized I may have misunderstood the problem initially. I can replicate the issue.

When logged in to a branch with the course materials module enabled the "Course" column displays on the Item Table in the staff catalogue.

I deselected this column via the column list on the Grid Settings menu and clicked "Save Grid Settings". When I navigated to the next record, the "Course" column displayed again. However, when I cleared my cache it went away and did not display when navigating to additional records.

I found the same to be true when I removed the "Course" via the Manage Columns" option and clicked "Save Grid Settings." Navigating to the next record caused the "Course" column to reappear. But, clearing my cache caused this column to go away.
