Bills: Unable to Select Separate Bill Line when Billing ID column removed

Removing the Billing ID column from view when in Full Details removes the ability to select individual bill lines. Selecting one line will select all of them.
To replicate:
1. In the patron's account go to the Bills tab and select a bill that will have multiple bill lines. 2. From the Actions menu select "Full Details"
3. Click on the Details tab.
4. In the Bills grid remove the Billing ID column.
5. Try to select a single bill line. All are selected.
6. Add the Billing ID column back.
7. Try to select a single bill line. You can now select an individual line.

Confirmed in 3.7.
This affects both the Bills sub-grid of Full Details (Billing ID) and the Payments sub-grid (Payment ID).
Nothing that this was fixed in 3.3.6 for the main Bills screen, and that the fix /may/ be relevant here. Details: bug #1780283.
