Obsolete/Deprecated Library Settings

Evergreen 3.7

There are a number of library settings for features that no longer exist in Evergreen or that no longer work with updated features/interfaces. These settings should get removed from the library settings editor.

Settings I'm Pretty Sure Are Obsolete:
GUI: Button Bar (feature no longer exists in the web client)
GUI: Cap results in Patron Search at this number. (has no effect on current patron search)
GUI: Format Dates with this pattern / Format Dates with this pattern. (one of these settings is obsolete but I'm not sure which)
GUI: Horizontal layout for Volume/Copy Creator/Editor. (has no effect on current holdings editor)
GUI: Patron circulation summary is horizontal (has no effect on current patron accounts)

Settings That Might Be Obsolete:
Cataloging: Spine and pocket label and spine label settings (I think these may be superseded by the Item Print Label settings
GUI: Default hotkeyset
GUI: Show billing tab first when bills are present
GUI: Toggle off the patron summary sidebar after first view.
GUI: Unified Volume/Item Creator/Editor
Receipt Template: Content of alert_text include
Receipt Template: Content of event_text include
Receipt Template: Content of footer_text include
Receipt Template: Content of header_text include
Receipt Template: Content of notice_text include
(Blank group) ui.network.progress_meter

Setting should be tested by others using 3.7+ to ensure they truly are obsolete. There are probably other settings that are obsolete/deprecated that could be added to this list

Circulation: Do not include outstanding Claims Returned circulations in lump sum tallies in Patron Display.
Circulation: Include Lost circulations in lump sum tallies in Patron Display.

These settings appear to have no affect on the patron summary in 3.9

"Circulation: Do not include outstanding Claims Returned circulations in lump sum tallies in Patron Display" and "Circulation: Include Lost circulations in lump sum tallies in Patron Display" both work for me. Note that it's necessary to log out and back in after changing those settings.
