Bug Description

Evergreen 3.7

When you scan a patron barcode (that would match with multiple patrons) into the "Place hold for patron by barcode:" in the new staff catalogue there is no pop-up to ask you which patron is correct. (This was also an issue in the traditional catalogue). The pop-up shows up as expected when the barcode is scanned into Check Out.

New to the new staff catalogue, the barcode completion prefix is not automatically added to the barcode in the "Place hold for patron by barcode:" field though the hold is placed for the barcode with the prefix included. There doesn't seem to be a way to place a hold for the patron whose barcode doesn't include the prefix.

I tried using the Place Hold button from the patron account without the prefix (12345) and it opens in the catalogue ready to place a hold for the patron with the prefix (MPL12345).

This could be an issue for libraries that do reciprocal borrowing and have patrons with matching barcodes.
