Bug Description
In 3.8
When a holding template containing an item alert is applied in the holdings editor, the holdings editor sticks in perpetual load/save. If the tab is closed, work is not saved.
We have a number of libraries that use item alerts often, and have templates set up for them. This is high on the importance scale for them.

Here's a fix:
https:/ /git.evergreen- ils.org/ ?p=working/ Evergreen. git;a=shortlog; h=refs/ heads/user/ berick/ lp1956790- copy-template- with-alerts
Note this does not address the fact that you cannot yet create new templates in the Angular holdings interface with copy alerts. This only solves the issue of applying existing templates that contain copy alerts.
