Experimental catalog - search template won't apply

When utilizing the current Evergreen server (as of 10-23-2021), selected a search template created in the experimental catalog will not update the search parameters.

I attempted to create a search template with the following parameters: 1) all formats; 2) contains; 3) group formats/editions; 4) EG-IN. However, when I left the experimental catalog and returned to try to apply my template, even if I clicked the template my search parameters remained the same as the default Evergreen search (all formats, contains, NO grouping formats/editions, ECKRT).
