The monster KPAC skin should be the default

I appreciate that we basically ship 2 kpac skins in Evergreen so there's an example of what can / needs to be done to replace a skin. My issue though is that the "alternative" skin is arguably the more visually appealing one. I'm interested in opinions on swapping the skins so that the default install looks good while keeping the current stock skin in the repo as a simpler alternative and also a good starting point for a locally customized skin.
