Bug Description

When associating an item from the library’s collection with a course, users may need to edit data related to the item. Currently, users may edit the circulation modifier, item status and shelving location, as well as the call number. Users should be able to edit the call number prefix and suffix as well. Please see attached screenshot.

The original call number prefix and call number suffix values should be stored in the asset.course_module_course_materials table so that they can be reverted when the item is removed from the course.

EG 3.7.2

The inability to edit call number prefixes and suffixes for items that are placed on reserve may result in a confusing catalog display. One of our libraries provided this example for the title American born Chinese.

The item's original call number prefix is: ReadEnr The item's original call number is: PN6727.Y36 A54 2006

In keeping with the library's course reserve procedure, the staff member edited the call number to create a temporary/reserve call number as follows: RES OKAN LIT217 American

Note: Because there is no option to edit the call number prefix, the staff member added a "prefix" of "RES" to the call number label.

However, this results in a confusing display in the catalog.  Please see the attached screenshot.

Ideally, the user would also be able to edit the call number classification, if need be, to correspond with the temporary reserve call number.
