Sort Priority Not Honored in Grids in Patron Record

When setting a sort priority, the setting is not honored between patrons or when the screen is first loaded. The priority only seems to be honored when the Manage Columns interface is closed.

Steps to duplicate:

1) Check out some items with different due dates.
2) Set sort priority of due date to 1 on the Items Out screen and save columns.
3) Retrieve the patron again and go to the Items Out screen.
4) Observe that the columns do not sort by due date.
5) Open Manage Columns again and observe that the setting has been saved. Close the interface
6) Observe the columns sort correctly.

This behavior is also true of the patron's holds list.

Thank you, Gary. Changed the name of the bug report to reflect that it's not just Items Out. It affects Check Out as well. We have at least one library that would like to sort this screen in a defined order as well rather than showing items in the order they were scanned in.
