Bug Description
This work is sponsored by the Evergreen Community Development Initiative (ECDI) and developed by Equinox.
Building on the work completed to address bug 1207533, Equinox will take a similar approach to improve query efficiency and retrieval in the Item-based Triggered Events Log, currently accessed from the Item Status interface.
Interface details, including a tabbed interface which opens in a new window, will be implemented similarly to what is described in the Patron-Based Triggered Events Log Rewrite spec, seen here:

Because the item version of TEL is very similar to the patron version, I have built a branch on top of the one that Jason Etheridge built for bug 1207533. I will mark this bug as a duplicate, since it extends his branch directly and further testing can (should) be done at the same time for both.
