Once an item has been associated with a course, the “Edit Item” option allows you to associate the item with (e.g. move item to) a different course. Currently, it is possible to move an item from a course owned by one system to a course owned by a different system. You should only be able to move items among courses associated with your working location. Once you have moved the item, you are not able to move it again. Though, if you do select the item and choose to associate it with a different course, you get a message indicating that “Update succeeded.” This is not accurate. This issue would be avoided if users had access only to courses associated with their working location.
