Staff catalog item barcode search fails to handle zero matches gracefully

Bug Description
Evergreen 3.5 and 3.6
Staff catalog -> Numeric Search -> Item Barcode
Enter a nonexistent barcode in the search form and submit. The progress bar hangs and the console shows the error:
ERROR Error: Uncaught (in promise): TypeError: e.map is not a function
TypeError: e.map is not a function
Working on a patch now.
