Angular grids return to first page after editing record

When a grid contains multiple pages and a record on page 2+ is edited - or Save is clicked - the grid reverts to the first page.

Example - editing MARC Coded Value Map to create language simple selector list:

1. Rows = 10
2. Edit Arabic on p.1 Save
3. Click through to Chinese on p.5, edit and save
4. List returns to p. 1

This adds extra work when editing multiple records on different pages.
