Bug Description
Suggested changes based on feedback from a usability study done by Mercer University:
In addition to the current renewal process, participants in the usability study expected to be able to renew items in a few other ways as well:
1) On the list of items currently checked out, they expected to see a button/link on each line next to each title to be able to renew one item at a time. (Many users looked right past the action list at the top of the list.)
Participants also requested that the cover image be displayed on the items out list in order to more easily identify the books.
2) Provide the renewal option on the item detail page when the patron has the item checked out. (Participants expected to be able to do this because it is a common feature in ebook apps.)
