Bug Description
Evergreen 3.1.x, Chrome. Screenshot attached.
This is a wishlist or usability report. It comes up fairly often with catalogers who are new to Evergreen.
When you retrieve a record via search in the web staff client, you see a display that gives Location, Call Number/Copy Notes, Barcode, etc.
The "Text" option that appears in the call number/copy notes column can be confusing for catalogers and staff. When working on a item or record, staff tend to associate the word "text" with "text of the call number/copy notes column, which is where this is located" rather than "send a text to a mobile device."
The text option, as it is, is helpful. The confusion is that a cataloger will select "text," expecting to be able to edit the *text* or the call number or to add a copy note-- to deal with the literal text that appears in that column.
I suspect people are looking for a quick way to edit the call number (or to add a note) and automatically select this option rather than going as far as "barcode" and choosing "view" or "edit."
As much as anything, the placement of the text option is visually confusing. Unfortunately, I do not have a solution, but I was curious to hear if anyone else has run into this one when conducting training or otherwise.

We seem to have relabeled ours as "Text to phone."
