A confirmation notification (via action trigger) that is sent to the user after a booking reservation is made for them by staff would be useful for some libraries to notify their faculty that the resource is booked for them for the period they require it.

Ideally the notification would include the details of the reservation - start, end, resource, etc.

Libraries should be able to decide whether or not to enable this notification for their library. Being able to send the notification on a per reservation basis (like email checkout receipts) would be a bonus.
