Bug Description
In the MARC editor in the web staff client it is very difficult to place the cursor in an empty subfield e.g., when creating MARC record from a template or when a new field has been added to the record. The empty subfield is really very narrow. It is also almost impossible to distinguish, whether the cursor have been already placed there or not. And the fact, that the cursor appears to be positioned below the line (not in the line) is not very helpful either.
In some cases, the tab key can be used as a workaround. But using a tab is awkward if, e.g., an empty subfield is positioned at the end of a line with multiple subfields.
Slightly wider subfields and more obvious focus would be very helpful for the cataloging staff.

I have heard concern about this issue from cataloging staff who feel that it's easy to lose their place (because it's difficult to see where the cursor is).
I've also personally had trouble with this one, and it's something that makes me continue to use flat-text.
